LINKS TO MY FAVORITE WEBSITES:

130POINT: https://130point.com/sales/

130point is the best tool out there for finding comps. Unlike the eBay sold items feature, 130point allows you to see what Best Offer auctions sold for which is pretty awesome when you are trying to find comps of older / low numbered cards. Now the website is a bit glitchy and has some quirks but it’s well worth the hassle.

FANGRAPHS: https://www.fangraphs.com/

Fangraphs is probably my favorite resource for content creation. It’s the only website I hold a subscription to because I’d be lost without it. They offer deep dive stats that most mainstream websites don’t record for prospects. They also have MiLB and MLB Leaderboards which allow you to create specified filter searches based on whatever criteria you desire. Lot’s of resources available here and it’s worth taking some time to explore them. FanGraphs is truly a one stop shop for all things MiLB and MLB.

BASEBALL SAVANT: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/

Baseball Savant is a sabermetrics powerhouse. Savant is a lot like FanGraphs but is exclusive to MLB players. My favorite tool on Savant is the Percentile Ranking system. There is a graph attached to each MLB player that shows you how they rank in specific stat categories such as WAR, Average Exit Velo, Barrel Percentage, Chase Rate, etc. The percentile rankings are huge for my MLB content.

BASEBALL REFERENCE: https://www.baseball-reference.com/

I like Baseball Reference because of the way they organize data. When looking at a prospect’s lines, they give you the stats from each level along with the combined stats at every level played during a specific year. There isn’t a ton of advanced sabermetric data but it’s organized in a way that really suits how I create my content.

MLB TRADE RUMORS: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/

MLB Trade rumors does a great job keeping you up to date on MLB promotions, trades, injuries, and other roster moves that can affect comps in the hobby.
